Nokia launches X2 – 5 Megapixel Camera phone @ Rs.5000

It looks like Nokia is working high on their strategy to capture the Indian market by introducing amazing new mobile phones at unbelievable low prices. We recently covered the launch of E5, C3 and C6 (mid end phones) and N8 (a high end Smartphone).

Today, Nokia has announced its latest device X2 from the Xseries line-up. Nokia X2 is a low end candy bar phone with a 2.2-inch QVGA screen and measures just 13mm thin and 81g light. It is packed with dual speakers, dedicated music keys, FM stereo and support for up to 16GB of storage via microSD card.

This tiny and low cost mobile is powered with a 5-megapixel camera and a video recorder. Bluetooth 2.1 is supported for wireless music enjoyment along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. X2 offers direct access to Facebook from homescreen and comes with Nokia Messaging. Users also have instant access to apps from Ovi Store.

Price - Nokia X2 will be available before end of June, for an estimated retail price of Euro 85 (Rs.5000 approx) before taxes and subsidies.
