Nokia 5230 & Nokia 5233 gets a Firmware Update to v21.0.004 (Changelog)

Here is another update, Nokia 5230 & Nokia 5233 also gets Firmware Update and updated to v21.0.004. There previous version was v20.0.005.

You can update your Nokia 5230 & Nokia 5233 firmware by OTA (Over-The-Air) – To get this software through your device, type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Or you can also get updates by using  Nokia’s Software Updater, Ovi Suite on Windows PC . Both device support UDP (User Data Preservation), but its always a good idea to backup all your personal data before updating the  firmware.

Note: It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.

Nokia 5233 Changelog:

• Corrected error include
• - Forced Deletion of whole SMS
• - Running Cursor during typing SMS
• - Dictionary application can’t be activated by voice command
• - Automatically close calendar without saving
