GPRS Data services will be available through a base plan with tariff of 10p per 10kb. Customers will also be able to access the service through two products or GPRS Packs dubbed as – Myconnect 9 which comes at Rs. 9 that’s valid for 3 days and allows free browsing or data access upto 60 MB and myconnect 90 priced at Rs. 90 that’s valid for 30 days with 3GB of free browsing and data transfer.
Aprt from the Data Usage, for both plans,- subscribers also can enjoy Unlimited Free browsing on social networking websites such as twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as well as Free access to MyUninor – Uninor’s WAP portal. The usage beyond free data will be charged at 10p per 10kb. MMS service on Uninor will be charged at Rs. 5 per MMS.
As soon as a Uninor SIM is inserted into the phone GPRS settings will be sent via OTA . Uninor has made its wap portal simpler and one can find only 6 icons on the homepage with loads of content behind them.
